Interesting articles
Here are a couple of posts that talk about community college as well as the difference between HS and community college. The PG year is all about that transition between HS and college, and the PG year enables students to start "fresh" when they hit college- not transferring in. In either case an interesting read.

College Graduation Rates for Men
The trends are continuing to not be favorable for young men as they try to find academic success in college. A recent statistic put the national graduation rate from a four year school at roughly 32% for young men, and that was allowing for up to six years to complete the degree!
With that said statics support that those who attended a PG year enjoyed a better than 70% graduation rate from a four year school school (again using the six year threshold to complete the degree).
An interesting starting point for discussion.
